Winner of BBC Radio Scotland's Young Classical Musician of the Year 2025, we are thrilled that Sofia Ros will open the Festival with a spectacular accordion recital! Already a soloist on the international stage, Sofia's performances have also been broadcast on BBC Radio Scotland and BBC Radio 4 Front Row. Born in the Canary Islands, Sofia is now based in Glasgow. Her programme is a beautiful mix of different cultures, musical flavours and impressive virtuosity.
