Kidbrooke Park Music Festival
The first KIDBROOKE PARK MUSIC FESTIVAL FOREST ROW took place in the autumn of 2019 with a memorable weekend of concerts and events in various venues across Forest Row.
Now in it's 6th year, the KP Music Festival continues to bring top quality music to our area, whilst also broadening its events to include educational projects for local young musicians. For instance, in 2021 the European Chamber Ensemble concert included a world premiere by the composer Jeff Moore that brought a large group of children together with the professional musicians in a joint grand finale. A truly unforgettable and inspiring event for all the children involved!
The 2022 festival included a new form of lyric-drama written and acted by Tama Matheson, combining acting and music in an unforgettable performance of Beethoven.
Kidbrooke Park Music Festival relies on ticket sales for it's funding, but is most generously supported by the Friends of Ashdown Music. Without the financial backing of this wonderful group of Friends, this Festival could not take place in it's current form.
